The origin of the word lemon comes from the Persian word “limu” that refers generally to the citrus fruit. The Ancient Greeks were the first to refer to the medical use of lemons, with Teophrastus as the inventor of phytotherapy and successor of Aristotle wrote about the curative properties of lemon. Now in this cream we find both the suggestions of lemon and the strength of the olive. The Olive is a very ancient cultivation, going back to 3000 to 5000 BC. It originates from Asia, and the fruit has a meaty texture, an oily pulp and when ripe has a purple/black color.
