The melon is a luscious fruit, both sweet and fragrant. In its summer variety (the cantaloupe), it acquires an even more intense fragrance. From the cantaloupe, a marmalade is born that has no equals. It is superb on bread and crispbread. The fruit used in this marmalade come exclusively from the fertile and sunny Sicilian countryside; they are patiently handled with care and sweetened with the addition of a minimal percentage of sugar.
