BLACK OLIVE SAVORY CREAM

The olive is a fruit with a very long history, dating back to 5000/3000 years BC. Originally from Asia, it has a meaty consistency, oily pulp and is black or dark purple when fully mature. Only when the olives have matured properly, they are processed, in order to create this very particular cream. This product is excellent as a spread on toasted bread or as an extra seasoning for Pasta with tomato sauce.

Recipe

Cook the pasta (spaghetti, penne or any other you prefer) add the Black Olive cream and then cubed fresh tomatoes or cherry tomato sauce, then sprinkle with fresh basil or parsley and serve. Black Olive cream is also delicious as an appetizer on bruschette and canapes.
