LAMPASCIONI ONIONS IN E.V.O. OIL
The Latin name of the Lampascione (Tassel grape) is Leopoldia comosa. The edible part of the lampascione is the bulb which is similar to a small onion. It is mainly cultivated in Apulia and is a slightly bitter small bulb. It is slightly cooked and then marinated in oil and fresh parsley.
